Teresa's Mosaic Cafe

Located in Tucson, AZ, The original restaurant is located at 2455 N. Silverbell Rd. and is open 7 days a week.

Opened in 1984, the Matias family has been cooking up great food ever since. Recently Bobby Flay came to down and issued the family a “throwdown” to see who could make the best huevos rancheros. We were honored, and you’ll just have to watch the show to find out who won!

One of the signatures of this beautiful restaurant is the mosaic tile tables - all handmade by Lifestylist® Suzanne Felber and the Lifestylist Design team. Lifestylist Design was also responsible for the remodel of the restaurant and incorporating the beautiful views and family history into the interior. The Throwdown With Bobby Flay

The Mosaic Cafe was so excited to have been chosen to do a throwdown with Bobby Flay! Here are some places you can read more about Teresa’s Mosaic Cafe and the Throwdown.

The Mosaic Tables at Teresa's Mosaic Cafe

Something people always comment on and remember about their Teresa’s Mosaic Cafe experience is their mosaic tables. When they had the restaurant remodeled in 2001 they brought in Lifestylist® Suzanne Felber of The Home Idea Factory to give the restaurant a look and feel that represented the lifestyle that their restaurant is all about.

By playing up the family - be sure to notice the Chef’s table that has all of the family’s stars on it - to the way they incorporated jewelry, keys, antiques and other items that were special to their family they made the restaurant feel like home.

Each tile - there are 1,000’s of them is unique and was handmade by Felber and her team. They  rolled out the clay, cut it into shapes, embossed them, glazed and then fired them. Each table has a theme - chilis, silverware, butterflies and flowers, and the chef’s table is the view that you can see of the Catalina mountains from our patio.
